Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809 near to the present town of Hodgenville, Kennedy. He was the sixteen president of the United States . He was the second child of Thomas and Nancy Hanks Lincoln. Like the most Kentucky settlers ofthe time the lincolns where very poor.
